Work Experience

2022 - Present

2021-2022

IBM

Skilled at creating innovative solutions for challenging business problems and

opportunities. I specialize in user research and have developed strong skills in

this area. I carefully understand the business requirements and technical

limitations and use this knowledge to craft various design elements such as

wireframes, prototypes, animations, and brand assets. I work closely with

clients throughout the process to develop creative and functional solutions.

NIPR

Collaborated with a team on a Design Thinking exercise for a Vision Project,

and conducted extensive research to inform our design decisions. Additionally, I

leveraged Miro to curate immersive presentations for workshops aimed at

developing customer journeys, problem statements, and personas. Synthesized

data into crafted high-fidelity, interactive prototypes for a software redesign, I

presented the finding and prototypes to key stakeholders.

2019 - 2021

NIC

From ideation to the final hand-off of code to developers, I skillfully crafted

visual designs. Working within agile teams, I brought user-centric websites and

applications to life. With an eye toward enhancing user-friendliness, I generated

innovative concepts that simplify the web and app experience.

2017 - 2019

Pennington Biomedical Research Center

Designed and managed a multitude of responsive websites and microsites.

Developed visually striking prototypes and wireframes based on personas. Utilized insights from Google Analytics to thoughtfully craft a web experience that catered to user preferences. Generated interactive content that effectively engaged website visitors. Demonstrated versatility by skillfully editing and animating videos for digital collateral.

2014 - 2017

Megan Moran Studios 

My responsibilities included designing various print marketing materials such as logos, brochures, illustrations, and infographics, as well as developing other types of print collateral. Additionally, I conceptualized and executed web designs from start to finish.

2003 - 2014

Louisiana State University

Collaborating with the web team, I designed graphics for the user interface of a content management system and contributed to the entire process of launching websites, web applications, and pioneering web technologies from conceptualization to implementation.
